Easy Putty Setting Export

I use Putty heavily at work for Secure Shell access to the servers I maintain, and as nice a program Putty is (it’s  free, you can’t beat the price!), it stores its profiles in the Windows registry, which makes it a little more tricky to move my settings to another computer; in my case, a new laptop. Luckily here’s a quick command I came across on the internet to export your putty settings to a registry file which can be easily imported onto another computer.

regedit /e putty.reg HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSimontatham
